PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate optical element-positioning work when a plurality of optical elements are fixed at relative positions at which light from a light source side is guided to a scanning face. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing optical scanners includes: a support process in which a plurality of optical elements are supported, by a single support device, at relative positions at which light from a light source side is guided to a scanning surface; a positioning process in which the support device, which supports the plurality of optical elements in the support process, is positioned to a housing to which the plurality of optical elements are fixed; a fixing process in which the plurality of optical elements are fixed to the housing both in a state in which the support device is positioned by the positioning process, and in a state in which the relative positions of the plurality of optical elements supported in the support process are maintained; and a removing process in which the support device is removed from the plurality of optical elements fixed in the fixing process.
