PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicylinder type piston drive device for reducing the friction loss of a Z-crank type drive device. SOLUTION: The piston drive device has a means of dividing a rocking yoke into a plurality of parts for taking out only the rotating operation of a single shaft. Namely, it includes a Z-crank having an inclined shaft inclined to a main shaft, a slip ring provided rotatably relative to the inclined shaft, a first rocking yoke rotatably supported by the slip ring, and turnable in a first plane including the main shaft, and a second rocking yoke turnable in a second plane including the main shaft and crossing the first plane. The ends of the first rocking yoke and the second rocking yoke engage with pistons corresponding to cylinders, and the first rocking yoke has a restriction mechanism for permitting the turn in the first plane and for restricting the rotation around the main shaft.
