PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve supporting rigidity of seats for occupants while effectively reducing weight of a vehicle body and achieving cost reduction. SOLUTION: An upper body structure of a vehicle includes at least a driver's seat 3 and a passenger seat 4 provided side by side in the vehicle width direction on a floor panel 2 that forms the bottom surface of a cabin. Seat frame members made up of a seat back frame 21 etc. are fixed on the floor panel 2. On the seat frame members, locking portions 28, 30 are provided, on which a seat body potion made up of a seat back portion 19 etc. of the passenger seat 4 is locked detachably. The installation portion of the passenger seat 4 can be used as a storage space for luggage by removing the locking portions 28, 30 from the seat body portion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
