PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack bar support device of an automobile steering device. SOLUTION: By reducing abrasion of a support yoke 310 by reducing friction between a rack bar 140 for making linear motion by interlocking with this when operating a steering wheel and the support yoke 310, an increase in a loose interval can be prevented. By reducing the friction between the rack bar 140 and the support yoke 310, the steering wheel is smoothly restored in straight advance operation of an automobile after a driver operates the steering wheel. Since noise generated when the support yoke 310 strikes a yoke plug 320 by impact inversely input from an irregular road surface by an increase in the loose interval can be prevented, there is the effect of providing a comfortable steering feeling for the driver.
