PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a forward-holding operation of a seatback with one hand by eliminating the forward-holding operation of the seatback with both hands. SOLUTION: In a seatback unlocking device 10 installed on a shoulder section of the seatback, a knob 12 is depressably mounted on a holder 14 serving as a body. A lower position with respect to a front wall upper end 24 of the holder 14 is defined as a position of a knob upper surface 12a at the lowermost depressed position. Therefore, during unlocking by a depression operation of the knob 12, a finger used for the operation is caught at the front wall upper end 24 of the holder, and it is sufficient to pull the seatback down with the front wall upper end of the holder hanging on the finger.
