<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-crystal display device for improving color repeatability by efficiently transmitting green light. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid-crystal display device for displaying a desired color image by transmitting white light emitted from a backlight by each of a blue color filter, a green color filter and a red color filter, the backlight emits white color by color mixture of emission light of a blue light-emitting element and wavelength conversion light of a green phosphor and a red phosphor using the emission light of the blue light-emitting element as excitation light. The green phosphor is formed of a sulfide-based phosphor, and a green color filter contains a brominated zinc phthalocyanine green pigment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
