<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a packet transfer having a high failure-resistance capable of eliminating concentration of a load to a part of a network while autonomously maintaining an optimal route without mounting a function of route control on a wireless terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless base station includes: a transmitting/receiving unit for receiving a wireless packet; a packet length determining unit for determining a packet length of the received packet; and a plurality of routing tables each storing a destination address and a packet transfer route correspondingly to a plurality of different criteria for the packet length.
