摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a display image by improving a contrast ratio of the display image while allowing the reduction in manufacturing costs, with respect to an electro-optical device. <P>SOLUTION: In the electro-optical device, a pixel electrode (9), conductive layers (6, 7, 11, and 71), and an antireflective film (80) formed so as to cover at least a part of end surfaces of the conductive layers with a light-shielding material having higher light reflectance than the conductive layers are provided on a substrate (10). The antireflective film includes a front end portion being contact with or facing a ground surface forming, on the substrate, a foundation of the conductive layers, and a body portion connecting with the front end portion and is formed so that a film thickness of the front end portion is smaller than that of the body portion and has a surface thereof curved or inclined with respect to the end surfaces of the conductive layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
