<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount and dispose a solar cell on a display unit more practically. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell polarizing plate 21 includes: a grid-like film 31 where a plurality of fine recesses and protrusions having predetermined pitches or smaller are formed in a stripe pattern; lower layer wiring 33 provided along bottom surfaces of the recesses of the grid-like film 31; and photoelectric conversion layers 34 which are disposed in contact with the lower layer wiring 33 and have elongated shapes along the recesses of the grid-like film 31. Then, the solar cell polarizing plate 21 is disposed on at least one of front and rear surfaces of a liquid crystal panel of a display device.
