<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge the width of choice in background images by a user without reducing the capacity of an incorporated memory. <P>SOLUTION: A content display device includes: a front end circuit 1; a demultiplexer 3 receiving the output of the front end circuit and separating the output into program information and broadcast data; a program information decoding part 11 for decoding the program information; a video and sound decoding part 5 for decoding video and sound data; a sound output part (a speaker) 7 for outputting the decoded sound; an OSD data generating part 15 for generating OSD data; a screen synthesizing part 17 for synthesizing by screen, the program information, the OSD data, and the broadcast data, etc.; and a display part (display) 21 for displaying the video synthesized by screen. The content display device further includes: an interface 2; a remote controlled photodetector part 23; a control part (CPU) 25; and a memory part 27, which are controlled in displaying by processing a program stored in the memory part 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
