PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with looseness and generation of odd noise prevented of each member constituting it, and excellent in waterproof property. SOLUTION: A locking mechanism (locking holes 3d, locking protrusions 11i) is provided for locking a housing 11 and a front holder 3 with a packing 5 pinched and press-contacted between the housing 11 and the front holder 3, by forming locking protrusions for positioning at the housing 11 and forming locking holes at the packing 5 to be locked to the locking protrusions. When the packing 5 with elasticity is intercalated between the housing 11 and the front holder 3 and fixed by the locking mechanism (the locking holes 3d and the locking protrusions 11i), it 5 is to be compressed in fixing. As a result, repulsive force occurs at the packing 5, and with the repulsive force, prevention of looseness of the housing 11, the front holder 3 or the like, prevention of odd noise, and improvement in waterproof property is achieved.
