PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended matter removal device capable of continuously and automatically removing scale and suspended matter without interruption, without disposing private stationary equipment or a dynamic device. SOLUTION: The suspended matter removal device includes: a stationary part 1 which has a perforated plate D covered therewith in a bath externally communicated with a circulating water mechanism, has a pipe hole therein, is disposed in water and, thereby, is stationarily located on a bath face by water pressure; an insertion pipe 20 which has the lower edge freely inserted into the pipe hole of the stationary part 1, has a pipe hole therein and is extended to the upper side; a float part attached to the insertion pipe 20; and a water suction mechanism which is attached to an upper part of the insertion pipe 20 and sucks water filled in the bath or a water storage tank into the pipe hole of the insertion pipe 20. The insertion pipe 20 floats on the upper part of the stationary part 1 stationarily located in water in the free insertion state, circulating water is sucked from the perforated plate D covered with the stationary part, thereby, water near the water surface is sucked from the water suction mechanism, and the suspended matter on the water surface is removed.
