<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the reduction of a shake correction effect, even when the amplitude of a camera shake vibration such as photography while walking is large. <P>SOLUTION: A shake correction apparatus includes: a shake detection unit 101 which detects a shake added to an imaging apparatus; a calculation unit 108 which calculates a shake correction amount for correcting an image blur caused by the shake of the imaging apparatus, based on an output from the shake detection unit; a shake correction unit 109 which corrects the image blur based on the shake correction amount calculated by the calculation unit; a shake level determination unit 114 which determines a shake level of the imaging apparatus based on an output from the shake detection unit; an offset change unit 115 which changes an offset value subtracted from the output of the shake detection unit, to move the shake correction unit to the center of the movable range of the shake correction unit; and a subtraction unit 104 which subtracts the offset value from the output from the shake detection unit; wherein the offset change unit changes the offset value based on the size of the shake correction amount and the shake level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
