<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp tool capable of surely realizing drop-off prevention of a lamp, irrespective of a socket type. <P>SOLUTION: In the lamp tool 10 using an LED lamp with a compatible shape with a conventional fluorescent lamp, or a lamp 20 consisting of a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) or the like, holders 14 capable of tilting between a drop-off preventing position A and a lamp exchange position B are arranged at arrangement sites of sockets 13 supporting either end of the lamp 20.
