PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens insertion instrument which is compatible with incisions of different sizes. SOLUTION: The intraocular lens insertion instrument 1 includes an insertion tube part 7 for inserting a foldable intraocular lens 8 into an eye. A covering part 11 for covering a distal end part 12 of the insertion tube part 7 is attachably and detachably provided. The covering part 11 is configured by a plurality of laminate in a radial direction. The intraocular lens insertion instrument is compatible with the incisions of different dimensions by attaching and detaching the covering part 11 by corresponding it to the dimensions of the incision.
