PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of improving heat exchange efficiency and pressure resistance of heat exchange pipes. SOLUTION: A condenser 1 includes the plurality of flat heat exchange pipes 4 and a pair of header tanks. Each of the heat exchange pipes 4 comprises: a pipe body 15 having right and left walls 17, 16 and front and back side walls 18; an inner fin 20 having flat wave crest parts 21, flat wave bottom parts 22 and connecting parts 23 interconnecting the wave crest parts 21 and the wave bottom parts 22 and arranged within the pipe body 15. While the wave crest parts 21 and the wave bottom parts 22 of the inner fin 20 are brought into surface contact with the left wall 17 and the right wall 16 of the pipe body 15, respectively, brazing is performed. By the connecting parts 23 of the inner fin 20, inside of the pipe body 15 is partitioned into a plurality of refrigerant flow passages 26. A plurality of projections 27 are provided on each of surfaces of the wave crest parts 21 and the wave bottom parts 22 of the inner fin 20 facing inside of the refrigerant flow passages 26, leaving clearances in the length direction of the refrigerant flow passages 26.
