PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus increasing a treatment speed by making active species, such as radicals, generated by discharge act on water to be treated with high efficiency. SOLUTION: Water W to be treated is made into droplets from a shower nozzle 7 and supplied into a discharge field generated between a cylindrical electrode 4 and a linear electrode 3 in a container body 21.
