摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a toner matrix particle, efficiently manufacturing toner having excellent reproducibility of a very small dot and cleaning performance. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a toner matrix particle includes: a process of preparing a first liquid by dissolving or dispersing toner material at least containing binder resin and/or binder resin precursor, a coloring agent and a mold releasing agent in an organic solvent; a process of preparing a second liquid having a rotational frequency of 60 rpm, which is obtained by emulsifying or dispersing the first liquid in an aqueous medium and measuring by a Brookfield viscometer, and having a viscosity at a 25°C ranging from 50 mPa.sec to 800 mPa.sec; and a process of causing the second liquid to flow as a liquid film substantially vertically downward along the inner wall surface of a pipe depressurized to 70 kPa or less, and volatilizing an organic solvent by a heating part for heating while maintaining the temperature of the second liquid less than the glass transition point of the matrix particle through the wall surface of the pipe, wherein the lower end of the pipe through which the liquid flows as the liquid film is projected from the heating part.
