PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grating unit which can realize height adjustments in the field and which can correspond with any condition regardless of the presence or absence of finishing materials or the like which are constructed. SOLUTION: The grating unit S is used for covering the top of a drainage channel. The grating unit S is constituted by a grating receiving member 2 and a grating 1, and is constituted so that the distances in the height direction between the foundation parts 21, 22, 22 and the top surface part 11 can vary between the case where a third engagement side wall 16 and a first engagement side wall 14 are brought into engagement with a first supporting wall 23 and a second supporting wall 24 respectively and the case where a second side wall 13 and a second engagement side wall 15 are brought into engagement with the first supporting wall 23 and the second supporting wall 24 respectively by reversing the grating 1.
