The decoupling element (1) has a gap, where the magnetic force is formed in the gap creating the clearance. The force repels a power transmission train (24) from another power transmission train (28) against an oscillating direction to be decoupled. Each power transmission train is a long object, particularly a shift rod (36), a torsion tube or a shift cable (44). An independent claim is also included for an actuator of a manual gearbox with an actuating lever.
