The method involves testing quality of an image generated by objects (P) by an imaging device e.g. X-ray computer tomography apparatus (1). Recording-and/or reconstruction parameters of a pre-defined set of photograph- and/or reconstruction parameters are automatically modified or modification of the recording- and/or reconstruction parameters of the pre-defined set by photograph- and/or reconstruction parameters is recommended based on evaluation of analysis of function of fabric and/or tissue of a patient. The quality of the image is enhanced with respect to the condition of the image. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for executing a method for modifying a recording parameter and/or reconstruction parameter of a set of photograph and/or reconstruction parameters for determined investigation of an object with an imaging device (2) a data processing medium comprising a set of instructions for executing a method for modifying a recording parameter and/or reconstruction parameter of a set of photograph and/or reconstruction parameters for determined investigation of an object with an imaging device.
