PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a layout image having proper appearance by correcting a facial image, according to a position of a facial region in the facial image and the enlargement/reduction ratio of the facial region. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes an image inputting means 11 for inputting a plurality of facial images; a detecting means for detecting a facial region in each facial image; a magnification calculating means for calculating a correction magnification of the facial region in each facial image; a position calculating means for calculating the positional deviation of the facial region in each facial image; and a correcting means for correcting a layout of each facial image by enlarging or reducing each facial image, according to the correction magnification and making each facial image move, according to the positional deviation.
