PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to have a thin thickness and have a narrow action area. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device(100) includes as follows. An optical switching member(1) successively has a first polarization(11), a first substrate, a second substrate, and second polarization plate form the front surface. A frame(3) coverts the optical switching member. A plane light source(4) is arranged on rear surface of the optical switching member. An optical sheet group(5) is arranged on front surface of the plane optical source. An adhesive layer(2) has an opening hole of a square and fixes the optical sheet group, the optical switching member and the frame. |
