PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling a content using the same are provided to integrally select a plurality of terminals in order to share a content among the terminals. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(110) is connected to a content providing server. A user input part(130) receives one or more selected content among the plurality of contents which are stored in the content providing server. The user input part receives the selection of other terminal for sharing the selected contents. A controller(180) receives a common content control signal about the selected terminals. The controller simultaneously controls the output state of the content among the selected terminals.
