APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COMPENSATING NETWORK DELAY IN A PACKET NETWORK

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for compensating network delay are provided to compensate a network delay in a packet network. CONSTITUTION: A storage media(220) stores a time offset value by the combination of network which supports different transmission speed. A compensation delay part(212) determines the combination of the heterogeneous network which is used to form the communication link with the opposite side communication device. The compensation delay part compensates the network delay of the received packet data by the stored time offset value corresponding to the combination of the heterogeneous network.
