PURPOSE: A power line communication system based on a constant current source is provided to perform communication in a power line communication environment using constant current. CONSTITUTION: A power line communication modem(21) transmits and receives the power line communication signal in the form of the voltage signal. A voltage/current converting unit(22) changes the power line communication signal transmitted from the power line communication MODEM into a current signal. The voltage/current converting unit applies the current signal to an insulation transformer. A current/voltage conversion part(23) changes the power line communication signal received from the insulation transformer into a voltage signal.
