WEIGHTED-COOPERATIVE SPECTRUM SENSING SCHEME USING MARKOV MODEL IN COGNITIVE RADIO SYSTEMS

PURPOSE: A weighted-cooperative spectrum sensing scheme using a markov model in a cognitive radio system is provided to perform a hard decision by regulating the weighted value which is applied to a wireless recognition user. CONSTITUTION: A concerned frequency band is sensed using an energy extractor(410). A weighted value according to the reliability of user is allocated(420). A hard decision is performed by the comparison result between separate spectrum sensing information and a threshold value(430). The hard decision is performed for determining the existence of prior user using the cooperative spectrum sensing algorithm. The final decision about the existence of the prior user signal by combining each hard decision information(440).
