PURPOSE: A TV watching distance maintainer is provided to block a sound or a display of the TV for a predetermined time when a user moves in a predetermined distance from the TV. CONSTITUTION: A sensor measures the distance of an object from a TV. A storage unit(110) stores an operational data corresponding to the measured distance. A control unit(105) transfers the operational data corresponding to the measured distance. An output unit executes the operational data which is received from the control unit.
