PURPOSE: A system for searching a live low voltage wire and a method thereof are provided to minimize costs for maintaining low voltage wires, thereby shortening maintaining time. CONSTITUTION: An electronic load device(100) is installed in one of live power wires. The electronic load device generates a signal with a specific pattern. A measuring device is installed in one of live power wires. The measuring device detects a current waveform and determines whether the signal with the specific pattern is included in the detected current waveform to detect the power line in which the electronic load device is installed. The electronic load device includes a power input unit(110), a power rectifying unit(120), a power controller(130), a signal generator(140), and a load(150).
