PURPOSE: A method for controlling distance between tip and basic material by arc welding system and an arc welding system are provided to uniformly control the distance between tip and raw material in spite of welding condition change or device error. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling distance between tip and basic material by arc welding system comprises the next step. A welding current value is measured by a current value measuring member(51). The welding current value is produced by a mean production member under regular welding condition. The welding current value, which accords to a regular welding condition of reference current storage table, is extracted and set as a reference current. |
