PURPOSE: A semantic tagging server and method thereof are provided to improve a reuse ratio of a software product. CONSTITUTION: An event processor(141) receives a query event searching the software product from a terminal. An ontology manager(142) generates a tag according to the request of tag event, stores a tag database(120) and amends and deletes a tag stored in the tag database. The ontology manager unit generates an ontology file by performing ontology operation according to the request of the query event.
