The strip e.g. skirting board (1), has a central strip body formed as a hollow profile with a hollow body that forms a function channel. Connection profiles such as wall connection wall profile and floor connection profiles, are connected at upper and lower sides. A C-shaped base section has a front opening that is closed with a cover profile (10) under formation of the hollow profile is formed. The cover profile is transparent or partially transparent, and illuminating devices (11) i.e. LEDs, are inserted into the channel. An independent claim is also included for a strip connector for connecting two strips. |
