PURPOSE: A portable electronic device is provided to reduce deterioration of the characteristics of an antenna. CONSTITUTION: A conductive operation detecting unit is installed to a circuit substrate. An operation detecting unit of a conductive detects the operation about the operation unit. A reference potential unit(41) is installed to the circuit substrate to face the operation detecting unit. A conductive unit(42) is installed to the circuit substrate to face the antenna. A transition unit(55) converts whether the reference potential unit and the conductive unit are electrically connected or not.
