The light-emitting diode module (1) has a reflector (4) and a carrier (2) for the light-emitting diodes (31), which are mounted on at least one surface region (21,22) of the carrier, arranged in one or more curved rows, each of which corresponds to a cone section. The surface region of the carrier provided with the light-emitting diodes is angled so that it faces the reflective surface (41) of the reflector. An independent claim for an automobile head lamp is also included.
