Packaging machine for multi-layer covering film

The packaging machine has an inlaid section for filling a container (14) with products. A heat sealing station e.g. lockable chamber, is arranged in operating direction. A heating plate (23) is regularly heated in the heat sealing station. The heating plate is designed such that a web-like material is heated and sealed at the container. A contact (25) is provided for transmitting heat between a sealing plate (22) and the heating plate by thermal conduction process. A sensor (26) is provided for measuring temperature in the heating plate.
