PURPOSE: A reliability secure of the coil package according to the automation of the coil packing process and production efficiency can be enhanced. CONSTITUTION: A coil packing apparatus comprises a coil support unit(500), a packing material supply unit(300), and a package robot. The coil support unit supports a coil. The packing material supply unit supplies the packing material to the coil support unit. The package robot the tip-end part of the packing material provided with the packing material supply unit clamping. The package robot swivels the packing material in the peripheral part of coil and the packing material is wound in the outer circumference of coil. The package robot sticks to the tape to the packing material wound in the outer circumference of coil. The packing material is fixed to the outer circumference of coil.
