The probe (1) has an electrical assembly (4) coupled with an elongated probe body comprising an interface. Electrical components are electrically coupled to supply leads of an electrode device. The probe comprises an insulated wire or a plastic rod equipped with a wire core. The electrical assembly is integrated into a body (2) of the probe before integrating into an electrically conductive and insulating tip (3) of the probe. The electrical components include electrical properties such as frequency-dependent resistance, impedance, capacitance and inductance.
