Balloon catheter

The catheter has an outer shaft with a distal end and a fluid line. An inner shaft is provided with a lumen for a guide wire (12). An inner balloon (6) is inflated under influence of a fluid that is pressurized by the fluid line. An end of the inner balloon is designed without cone and with essentially unvarying thin wall thickness. An outer balloon (14) is placed over the inner balloon and is provided with twists (13, 17) on ends anterior to fastening zones (8, 18). The outer balloon is directed in an opposite direction of the twists of the inner balloon that is positioned underneath.
