PURPOSE: A method for dimming streetlights is provided to attach a vehicle sensor to each streetlight, thereby adjusting illuminance of the streetlight according to whether a vehicle is sensed. CONSTITUTION: An LED lamp(10) comprises a plurality of sub lamps. An LED driving unit(20) drives the LED lamp by control of a controller(50). A vehicle sensor(30) senses whether the vehicle moves. A controller receives a sensing signal form the vehicle sensor to calculate the moving speed of a vehicle. The controller applies an illumination control signal to the LED driving unit. |
