APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANAGING NEIGHBOR BS LIST IN DISTREBUTED WIRELESS AD HOC NETWORK

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for managing neighbor BS list are provided to manage the neighbor BS in a distributed wireless ad-hoc network. CONSTITUTION: A communication module(1500) communicates with neighboring base station through a wireless backbone link. A controller(1520) collects neighboring BS information using the surrounding environment monitoring function. The controller obtains information of the neighboring BS which satisfies a predetermined condition among the collected neighboring BS. The controller adds the obtained BS in a candidate neighbor BS list.
