PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method and driving circuit for realizing an EL display device having excellent white balance. SOLUTION: A bit having a value of a 1 is added to the lower order of the least significant bit of n bit digital data having image information of red inputted from outside, a bit having a value of a 0 is added to the higher order of the most significant bit of n bit digital data having image information of green and a bit having a value of a O is added to the higher order of the most significant bit of n bit digital data having image information of blue, by which the (n+1) bit digital data having the image information of red, the (n+1) bit digital data having the image information of green and the (n+1) bit digital data having the image information of blue are formed and are used for display of images. |
