The system has a management computer (2), indicator device (3) and a control element e.g. keyboard (17), for management of machines i.e. printer engines (7), provided with components. The respective configuration of the components of the machines is memorized in the management computer. The current configuration of the components on the indicator device is retrieved by operation of the control element for the machines in the management computer. The management computer comprises a module to receive failure reports from the machines. |
