MIDDLE BEAM FOR EARTH RETAINING WALL USING PHC PILE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: An interlayer beam of an earth retaining wall consisting of PHC piles and a construction method thereof are provided to shorten a construction period for constructing interlayer beams and enhance constructability since a reinforcing member reinforcing the interlayer beams can be pre-assembled. CONSTITUTION: An interlayer beam of an earth retaining wall consisting of PHC piles comprises a reinforcing member(10) and concrete. The reinforcing member comprises base plates(11a,11b), web rebars(12), an upper rebar(13) and middle rebars(14a,14b). The base plate is fixed to the front of the PHC pile where underground slab is constructed. The web rebars are placed at given intervals to cross the PHC piles(30). The web rebars are coupled to be protruded perpendicularly to the faces of the base plates. The web rebar comprises leg units, which has a gap between them.
