PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing a lens of glasses is the location of the lens crosses each other. And yet, the generation of the unavailable lens is controlled. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing a lens of glasses comprises a rotating unit, an edge processing device, a lens type input unit, a marker forming unit, a marker position sensing unit, a control unit, and a misalignment detecting unit. The rotating unit rotates a pair of lens chuck shafts(102R,102L). The edge processing device comprises the roughing process tool(162) and finishing tools(163,164). The positional deviation of the lens is detected. The marker position input unit of the marker formating unit inputs the initial position of the marker of the lens(LE). The marker position sensing unit detects the location of the marker of the lens. It is completed by the finishing outlet in which the edge of the lens is roughly processed by the rough -machining tool. The control unit controls the edge processing device. The misalignment detecting unit activates the marker detection unit. It detects to cross each other based on location and the detected initial position of marker the rotation of the lens. |
