Class 16 Record sheets having columnar and transverse divisions and wherein items entered on one sheet 5 are transferred on to another sheet 5a by carbon paper 19 and registration of the sheets in various positions is afforded by two parallel rows of perforations 11, 12 and 14, 19 in each sheet parallel to the side edges for registration on spaced posts, have the under sheet 5a folded transversely to form two pages 5a, 17 each having parallel rows of perfora.- tions, the back page 17 being divided transversely by score lines 18 into divisions for tearing off. The two carbon sheets 19 may be united at their lower end to facilitate insertion between the sheets 5, 5a and sheet 5a and back page 17. The sheets are registered by pins 23 (not shown) on a board 21, the back of which is shown in Fig. 2. The board is supported on rubber feet 24 and a supporting bail 27 with rubber covered corners 30 the ends of which are pivoted in bearings 28 on casings 25, 26. The bail is held in either the out of use position (Fig .4) or supporting position (Fig. 2) by a spring latch 29 slidably mounted on the casing 26 by a pin 31 and slot. The end 33 of the latch 29 holds the bail 27 flat to the board as in Fig. 4 but is releasable by its other end 32. In the supporting position the bail 27 is held by a projection 38 thereon which is turned out of a notch 37 in the latch 29 so as to be under the latch and be held thereby. |
