FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for determining axial load acting on thrust bearing of rotor of aircraft gas turbine engine refers to measurements of forces acting on load-carrying elements of gas turbine engine design during its operation and at its refining, namely to measurements of forces on thrust bearing, and allows reducing labour intensity for determination of axial load on thrust bearing at providing the required accuracy level of its determination. Method involves determination of axial load acting on thrust bearing of rotor of aircraft gas turbine engine in several operating modes of engine, measurement of Rax, Pin* and Pout* for three engine operating modes, build-up of ratio Rax = Rax / Pin* = å(Çk) of acceptance of this ratio as universal for engine of this type, determination of Pin* and Çk for the specified engine operating mode, and by using universal ratio Rax = Rax / Pin* = å(Çk) the value of axial load acting on thrust bearing is estimated in the specified engine operating mode, where: Rax - corrected axial load on axial bearing, Rax - absolute value of axial load on thrust bearing for the specified engine operating mode, Pin* - total pressure at compressor inlet, Pout* - total pressure at compressor outlet, Çk=Pout*/Pin* - compressor compression degree. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency. ^ 2 dwg |
