The machine has a lined assembly (10) e.g. lined magnetic bearing and lined electric motor, whose electrical connectors (18) are connected to an external medium i.e. liquid, with the machine by a flexible power supply pipe (100). The pipe is filled with a filling liquid maintained at gas pressure and comprises a tubular body (102) surrounded by a braided metal reinforcement (104) with a large length corresponding to an axial extension tolerance of the tubular body. The axial extension tolerance of the body ranges between 3 and 10 percent of length of the supply pipe.
