The device has an external heat exchanger (1) i.e. reservoir, that exchanges heat to a standard water-heater. A connection device (4) is connected on a cumulus (6) and a hot water dispensing system (8). The connection device allows a connection to the cumulus without modification of the cumulus. The connection device permits to transfer water heated by the device to the cumulus or to directly heat the water toward the hot water dispensing system. A non-return valve allows rising of hot water in the cumulus.
