INK SUPPLYING SYSTEM AND INKJET PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supplying system which suppresses precipitation of an ink fine particle in a sub-tank without completely discharging an ink in the sub-tank. SOLUTION: The ink supplying system 10 includes a sub-tank 12 which is arranged between a main tank 11 and an inkjet head 2 and is communicated with the inkjet head 2 through a second ink passage 16 while communicated with the main tank 11 through a first ink passage 14; a third ink passage 17 connecting the sub-tank 12 and the first ink passage 14; a liquid feed pump 18 which feeds the ink in the third ink passage 17 from the side of the sub-tank 12 to the side of the first ink passage 14 to supply the ink to the sub-tank 12; and a control unit 19 which carries out various controls of an inkjet printer 1. The control unit 19 carries out driving control of the liquid feed pump 18 and makes the ink stored in the sub-tank 12 circulate in an ink passage passing through the third ink passage 17 and the first ink passage 14.
