PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power coating apparatus capable of optimizing the power consumption of an exhaust means. SOLUTION: At least a part of each divided door section of door sections 4a, 4b and 6a, 6b is opened, based on the size of a coated object 19 detected by a coated object detecting means 29. The coated object 19 entered inside a coating booth 2 is coated by spraying a powder coating material from coating guns 10a, 10b while it is moved in the coating booth 2. The air inside the coating booth 2 is sucked by an exhaust fan when the velocity of the air flowing into the coating booth 2 is a lower limit inflow velocity or higher, and a dust concentration inside the coating booth 2 is a dust explosion lower limit concentration or less, and at a number of revolutions where a detected value by a velocity sensor is a lower limit velocity or higher.
